These classes are a beautiful combination of creative movement and a structured dance class. Tiny dancers will be guided in rhythm, instruments, creative play and the most basic of choreography and dance elements.

Ages 3-5
For your movers and shakers! If your tiny dancer shows any interest in movement, rhythm and activity, dance is an amazing place to put them! These dancers will learn basic dance technique and terminology, and discover a love of movement and music!

This age continues to attract many beginning level dancers interested in exploring dance, as well as young dancers who would love to take this art form more seriously and spend more time at the studio! Similar to our 5-9 year old classes, we continue to offer beginning level classes at this age. In addition to these intro classes, this is the age where dancers have the option to truly elevate their talent and dig in to serious training.

This age is so exciting! Our class offerings include beginning, intermediate and advanced levels that meet the needs of many dancers at this age. Want to take one class a week for fun while balancing other activities? Do it. Want to be semi competitive? We got you. Want to spend every waking moment at the studio? We’ll consider it ;)

Technique Classes
Our technique class placement is based on ability and NOT on age. Participation in any technique class must first be approved by the TCDC Faculty. We evaluate each dancer before placing them in technique classes. By evaluating, we can place dancers in the right class to ensure their safety, appropriate development, and to make sure they’re not skipping any important steps in their journey to being the best dancer they can be!
Technique classes do NOT often offer a routine to be performed in our Showcases. They are meant for training and improvement! The only exception to this rule are select ballet classes that will perform in our Spring Showcase.
